In this, the third episode of his latest series of Palestine Calling, Dr Declan Hayes visits Taybeh on the Palestinian West Bank where he speaks to the Khoury family who explain the problems Palestine’s Christians face living under occupation and how they hope their wine and beer start-ups will help allow their extended Christian community to remain in the Holy Land.

In this, the fourth episode of his latest series of Palestine Calling, Dr Declan Hayes speaks to Greek Catholic priest Mgr Youseff Saada, Anglican priest Naim Ateek and Latin Catholic priest Peter Madros about their experiences during the 1948 Nakbah when all three, together with their families, were forced to flee as refugees for their lives.

In this, the fifth episode of his latest series of Palestine Calling, Dr Declan Hayes attends three Palestinian West Bank protests in Ramallah, Taybeh and Bil’in, two of which were for Syria and one of which was against the Israeli settlement projects and he speaks to Jews, Christians and Muslims attending them.

In this, the sixth episode of his latest series of Palestine Calling, Dr Declan Hayes speaks to internationally renowned peace activist Abdallah Abu Rahm in Bil’in and to Fr Firas Aridah, the Latin Catholic parish priest of St. Joseph’s in Jifna on the Palestinian West Bank.

In this, the seventh episode of his latest series of Palestine Calling, Dr Declan Hayes speaks to Emily Levy, a Canadian Jew, working with Women in Hebron and, in the presence of two Christian monitors, to Isaac Cohen from the controversial Jewish settlements in the centre of Hebron.

In this, the eight episode of his latest series of Palestine Calling, Dr Declan Hayes visits a Palestinian kindergarten beside Hebron’s controversial Tomb of Abraham and speaks to a mini-army of Christian and other international volunteers monitoring the gauntlet the toddlers and their guardians run to get to and from school every day.

In this, the ninth episode of his latest series of Palestine Calling, Dr Declan Hayes visits Jericho, where he calls into the Russian museum and the Romanian Orthodox convent as well as Hebron where he meets Russian Orthodox monks at their massive monastery in the heart of the city.

In this, the tenth episode of his latest series of Palestine Calling, Dr Declan Hayes visits the embattled town of Bethlehem where he speaks to Dr. Salim J. Munayer, the director of the Bethlehem Bible College and Brother Joe Loewenstein, the former President of Bethlehem University.
